Hi! My name is Benjamin and I've been a performer and composer for 15 years. I have performed on multiple freelance recording works on many instruments, including projects with the Extemporaneous Music Society of Kansas City, rock bands, jazz projects, and more. I have taught courses to all age ranges about saxophone techniques, improvisation, and I love helping my students find their unique voice on their instrument. I'm also the co-founder of the record label/music collective II-WANDS, and was recently awarded the 2022 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award for my composition PRIMORDIAL 2019 for alto saxophone and live electronics. I received my bachelor's degree in Music Composition from Ohio University in 2020, and recently received my master's in Music Composition from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2023.
