Hi, my name is Emma and I am a college freshman from Texas. I have been a student of music for 10 years. My musical influences include Band and orchestra and I also enjoy jazz. My teaching style can best be described as fun and engaging! My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe every child should have access to a good music education. Music educates the whole child.. In my lessons, you can expect to learn things like percussion, flute, trumpet, french horn, or alto saxophone. I like to tell my students that today you did your best, and tomorrow you will do better. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing how music changes kids. My favorite performance was when I performed at DCI finals in 2023. My students love that I am understanding, calm, and funny. I primarily teach percussion, but I can also teach flute. alto, trumpet, and french horn.
