About Me
Ron started off his career at a very young age as a professional drummer. He has performed with artists such as Frankie Michaels from the Broadway Show Mame, Little Anthony, Mary Wells, Joe Porto, Bob Geller and has performed concerts with The Planotones, The Spinners, The Grass Roots and Orleans. He has produced over 25 Albums of Independent Artists and has done Live sound for National Acts such as Buddy Rich, Tito Puente, Les Elgart Orchestra, the Sonny Constanzo Orchestra and the Crystals. As a Drummer and Percusionist, he has performed every genre and Style of music. On keyboards, his gift of being able to establish a music environment for any composition is unparalleled. From 2 he worked in ministry bringing forth worship music across the country. through WE WORSHIP THE KING MINISTRIES. He is also a technology specialist on ALESIS and ROLAND Electronic drums and percussion and on KORG, ROLAND and YAMAHA arrangers and keyboard Music Workstations. He has produced in world class studio's such as Mastersound Astoria Studio's in New York and many other Recording facilities across the country. ​​ THE HISTORY Ron gained an interest in playing drums at the age of 5. He began studying theory and classical drumming at the age of 8 with Robert Keenan for 2 years. He then went on to study Jazz and contemporary drumming with Harry Ashmore. At the age of 12 he was already working with a band of seasoned professionals. ​His continued desire to learn led him to study Latin Percussion under the Humberto Morales curriculum. At the age of 16 he was already touring across the country with tony award winner Frankie Michaels from the Broadway show, Mame. That led him to study advanced drumming skills with Jim Blackley in New York city.​ In the late 70's Ron began to study Electronic music and recording under the John Warrem curriculum. In the early 80's he began to study keyboard synthesis which led him to write and produce a multitude of tracks for commericials and Independent Music Artists. In the mid 80's Ron was the first drummer to put together a one man Orchestra fusing acoustic and synthesized percussion into a show. His idea to design the first multi octave mallet percussion synthesizer became a reality after working with Star Instruments on the design. In the late 80's a previous employee took the idea and started Kat Percussion and renamed it the Mallet Kat which is now being sold across the globe. ​ From performing to composing, to live sound and Production, Ron has had Years of extensive studying and experience at all levels and styles of Drums, Percussion, Recording, Electronic keyboard Technology which spans over a period of 50 years.
