My name is Lynn. I have been playing clarinet for 14 years and recently taught middle school music and band for 5 years. I’m taking a break from the classroom and currently perform with the Montrose Community Band and the Valley Symphony Orchestra. I believe that music should exist to build ourselves up and shouldn’t just be accessible to those aspiring to be professional musicians. It can open the door to so many opportunities and adventures, benefits our physical and mental health as well as social connections. But it can be confusing and frustrating especially when we don’t have the right information and tools to be successful. To combat this, I adapt my teaching strategies to meet the needs and goals of the individual student. Let’s work together to build the right musical adventure for you!
