Michelle has always loved music from an early age. She began singing at the age of 6 on her first cassette recorder with her cousins and continued her education by a Creative and Performing Arts program through high school & playing with several bands. Her musical influences include a wide range of vocalists from Jazz legends such as Billie Holiday & Ella Fitzgerald to songwriters such as Stevie Wonder & Regina Spektor. Michelle's favorite thing about music is how it connects people and her favorite thing about teaching music is the way it changes how we feel about ourselves.
