Bass Guitar Lessons, Vocal Lessons

Hi, my name is Madison and I am a musician from Jupiter, FL. I have been a student of music for almost 10 years. My taste in music is broad. I play on the worship team for the Youth and Sunday services at my church. I am up to date on current worship music and LOVE to play it. However, I also like older Christian bands whose songs aren’t played on a Sunday. Bands such as Petra, Disciple, Stryper, Whitecross, and Pillar. Additionally, I am a fan of 80’s rock like Cheap Trick, AC/DC, KISS, Cinderella, RATT, etc. We can go even further back with some old school country. Hank Williams Sr., Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe, and George Jones, are a few I like. I like to tell my students that you can learn anything. It might take time and discipline, but if you put in the work you can make it happen. My favorite thing about teaching is when my students become comfortable enough with what they learned musically that they let their personal flair shine through their sound and physical movements. My students love that I encourage them to be themselves when they perform. It’s nice to have musical inspiration and influences, but a musician never feels more alive than when they are 100% true to themselves and their style. I primarily teach bass but I can also teach singing. My approach as a teacher is to make my students feel as comfortable as humanly possible. There is no need to be nervous or feel embarrassed about making mistakes. That’s how we learn! I am a firm believer that there is no such thing as a dumb question. We will learn together, fix mistakes gently, and most importantly; have fun along the way! My favorite performance I’ve been in was during a women’s church conference. Our entire band was comprised of female musicians! Vocals, drums, bass (that was me!), keys, electric & acoustic guitars were all ladies. Thanks for taking a look at my profile and I hope to meet you soon!
