Angelica has had a passion for music her whole life. Beginning flute and violin lessons at 10 years old, she knew she wanted to inspire students the way her own music teachers had inspired her. She graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 2021. She then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she attended Duquesne University's Mary Pappert School of Music. While enrolled as a full-time college student she toured the country as a featured musician with the "world's longest running live stage show," the Tamburitzans, for four years. As an educator she instructed 4-8th grade band for two years, as well as PreK general music for one year. She graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University with her Bachelor of Science in Music Education in May 2025 and currently holds her PK-12 Music Education Certification. Upon graduation she moved back to the Youngstown area where she currently teaches in both a public-school and private setting flute and violin, as well as exploring musical opportunities for students with special needs.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I have been a flutist for over 12 years, and students can expect to learn basic to advanced flute study including beginner technique work to advanced rep. used for OMEA solo and ensemble contest.
Formal Education:
Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Duquesne University.
Private Education:
I have had 12 years of flute experience being taught primarily by Jennifer Steele (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra), Heidi Ruby-Kushious (Columbus Symphony Orchestra), and Shery Larson.
Performing Experience:
I was a featured musician with The Tamburitzans from 2, touring across the US performing 70+ shows yearly.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught in both in a public-school and private setting since 2022, including but not limited to 4-8th grade band instructor, Pre-K music teacher, and beginning strings teacher.
