Hi, my name is Whitney and I am a singer, originally from Florida, who recently moved to Kentucky. I have been a student of music all of my life. My musical influences include jazz, opera and classical theatre. and I also enjoy song-writing. My teaching style can best be described as Montessori-student led. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I believe everyone has what it takes. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to voice your best self. I like to tell my students to breathe deep and let go. My favorite thing about teaching is witnessing progress and growing confidence. My favorite performance was when I played my original songs in St. Petersburg, Florida. My students love that I truly listen. I primarily teach voice, but I can also teach song-writing.
