About Me

Hello, I'm Colin! I have significant experience in vocals thanks to my time participating in various Choral programs such as Wisconsin State Honors, as well as vocal competitions such as Solo & Ensemble. A variety of wonderful choir directors have enriched my musical experience by instilling strong vocal foundations both in a performative and knowledgeable sense. Due to my background in primarily choral music, that is where the largest strengths in my vocal knowledge resides. But, I am capable and enthusiastically willing to venture into any genre, any style, and provide my past experiences as a structure for my student and me to cling to when experimenting with new music. Along with my background in singing, I have lesser but still strong experience with guitar as well! If you are interested in either vocal or guitar lessons (or both!), lets chat! Did you know, anyone can sing? In the same way anyone can certainly play a note or two by simply pressing the keys on a piano, so also can anyone play a note or two by simply letting their vocal chords loose. Of course, there is always room for refinement, but I assure anyone interested in getting more serious about their vocal capabilities, or anyone who is tentatively envisioning themselves as an untapped potential vocalist, that it IS an attainable goal.
