I started playing guitar when I was 12 years old. I was so blessed to have parents that loved music and decided to get me an acoustic guitar! I instantly fell in love with the guitar and that love grew into playing multiple instruments. Since I was about 15 years old I was playing in Church every Sunday and practicing with the Church Choir. At one point I was practicing and performing music about 8 to 10 times a week. When I was about 17 years old I joined a local band that played 80's Rock and New Wave music. I have enjoyed live performance and creative writing processes so much! However, it brings back all of the magic and child-like wonder of learning whenever I get to share my knowledge and experiences with others! If you have a love for music I'd love to meet you!

Performing Experience:
I have over 10 years of experience in live performance. I have performed in various setting, such as; churches, clubs, outdoor concerts, private events (i.e., weddings, birthday parties, etc.), competitions, etc. I had the pleasure of travelling between West Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught several students over the years. However, I would like to have more students. I have primarily taught students the guitar because that is their area of interest. I have taught a couple of students piano and drums. I have used various curriculums over the years, however, I tend to modify the curriculum in order to custom-taylor it to the needs of the students. I believe that progress is important but letting a student grow at their own pace allows them to fall in love with the world of music.
