About Me

I have 3 years of teaching experience with the Lamar Consolidated High School. I served as a Visual Technician/Choreographer, where in the first two years both I and a friend choreographed about 85% of both shows. While helping them increase their visual proficiency, scores went up from 14th-15th places to 8th place. As a musician, i have been a soloist for many pieces, including A Movement for Rosa, The World is Waiting for Sunrise March. I have also participated in 3 seasons of Drum Corps International, notably placing 3rd in 2023 with Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps, and 14th with Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps where I marched that season on Mellophone. Currently in the SFASU Wind Symohony, we just wrapped up our first concert playing literature such as Decidious Viet Cuong, A Jubilant Overture, and Irish Tune from County Derry Percy Grainger.

Formal Education:

Graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in 2025, currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Music Education with a Euphonium Concentration at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Private Education:

Half a semester of lessons with Dr. Ramon Garavito Jr as well as a Masterclass & Lesson with Dr. Jasmine Pigott with intent to continue lessons for the next four years.

Performing Experience:

4 years in the LCHS Wind Ensemble with 2 years as the Principal Euphonium. Soloist in many pieces, A movement for rosa (Camphouse), The World is Waiting For Sunrise March (Alford). 3 years of drum corps experience in both world class and open class. Placed 3rd in Open Class with Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps in 2023, making semifinals finishing in 22nd place. Placed 14th in World Class with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps on Mellophone, learning from teachers who marched shows such as Blue Devils 2014, 2017, 2019, and Santa Clara Vanguard 2018.

Spent three years with the Lamar Consolidated High School focusing primarily on improving their visual proficiency. Took scores from 14th to 8th place in that time, choreographing 85% of their shows in both 2023 and 2024.
