As a kid always tapped and drummed in things to music got my first kit when I was 14. I am 26 now and still playing, my influences music wise is rock and metal but I am a “ by ear “ drummer so I can teach anything I listen to and that how I would implement my lesson is have my students pick any song they wanna learn and teach them the song. That is how I got lessons as a kid and was really helpful for my learning growing up.
