Hello, My name is Jonathan and I am a singer, originally from Virginia, but recently relocated to Maryland for school! I have a strong dedication to music, but an even stronger dedication to teaching. I am a tenor who has taught all ranges of voices from true basses to coloratura sopranos. I am extremely passionate about every student I have ever worked with, and I believe that everyone has the ability to sing like a pro! Through my many years of teaching, I have learned how to develop lessons specifically catered to the level that each of my students are at, while still challenging and inspiring them to become the best version of themselves. In my studio, you can expect to feel welcome, appreciated, and respected. I always start each lesson out with a little talking about how you have been and what practice has looked like for you. Then, I move into warm-ups and technique. Lastly, I work through solo repertoire. My students have all loved that I have a clear plan for my lessons, and appreciate the consistency I provide in my studio. Whether you are looking to learn the basics of singing, prepping for a college audition, or want to take lessons to keep your voice in the best shape it can be, I believe I am the perfect teacher for you. I appreciate you for taking a look at my profile, and I hope to meet you soon!
Jonathan K. has over 5 years of music experience in the College Park area.
Jonathan K. is proficient in and teaches Vocal Lessons .What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
When you join my studio, you can expect a welcoming, encouraging, and structured environment where your growth as a singer is the top priority. Every lesson begins with a quick check-in — a chance to share how you’re feeling and how your practice has been going. From there, we move through focused warm-ups and vocal technique tailored specifically to your voice type and goals. Each session ends with repertoire work, where we apply technique to real music that excites and challenges you. My approach is consistent yet flexible — designed to meet you where you are while guiding you toward your fullest potential. Whether you’re preparing for auditions, building healthy vocal habits, or simply singing for the joy of it, you’ll always be supported, respected, and inspired to do your best. My goal is to help you not only sound great, but also feel confident and proud of your progress every step of the way.
