Hi everyone! I’m Justin, a composer, tuba player, and educator passionate about helping students discover their musical voice. I hold a Bachelor of Music from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, where I studied with Dr. Aaron Tindall, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Music Composition at Florida State University. As a performer, I’ve had the privilege of playing with ensembles such as the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, and Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra. As a composer, my works have been featured at major festivals, including the Mostly Modern Festival and Soundbox Ventures, and I’m a Yamaha and Denis Wick Performing Artist. As an instructor, I love connecting technical skills with creativity — whether through ear training, ensemble performance, or composition. I believe music is a reflection of who we are, and my goal is to help you not just play notes, but communicate meaning through sound.
