Kelvin began playing the keyboard/organ at the age of 10. Over the years, he developed his skills further by practicing daily, performing in church, and studying different musical styles. He gained performance experience in the Richmond area by playing at smany differentlocal churches, community events, and school programs, and with acts such as gospel choirs and local bands. Though Kelvin can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are gospel, R&B, and jazz, which had great influence on his style of playing. Kelvin loves music because it allows him to express emotions and connect with people on a deeper level, and loves teaching music because he enjoys helping others discover their own sound and confidence.
