Josh has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of eight and continued his education by pursuing classical guitar lessons before studying jazz as an undergraduate. His musical influences include John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Mike Stern, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Thelonius Monk, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington. Josh's favorite thing about music is the way it teaches you to think, to study, and the endless pursuit of improvement. And his favorite thing about teaching music is watching people grow, become more skillful, and more passionate.
