Erik began playing brass at the age of four. Over the years, he developed his skills further by expanding his knowledge in the instruments he knows, learning piano, percussion, and various other instruments. He gained performance experience in the Lehigh Valley area by playing at such venues as Miller Symphony Hall and with artists such as Johan De Meij. Though Erik can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are classical. which had great influence on his style of playing.
