About Me

Hi! My name is Chantaland I am originally a classical/opera singer. I have been pursuing opera for several year, and my career included to me singing on great stages locally and internationally, such as Pittsburgh Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. My musical influences include opera singers, like Angel Blue and Denyce Graves; and my love for singing inspired me to teach. My teaching style can best be described basic voice lessons, where I teach those of any age breathing techniques, pitch and confidence, on any style of music they love to work on, such as pop, jazz and musical theatre. My teaching philosophy can best be described doing what makes your heart sing and fly! In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to build confidence; learning fun rep that makes you feel great and expressing yourself. I like to tell students that I never seek perfection; I always strive them to be their best version of themselves they can be through teaching, and I find great joy whenever they achieve their own goals and dreams.
