Laura Jane G.

My name is Laura Jane Grace. I am a professional touring musician, songwriter, and recording artist with over 30 years experience. I started playing guitar when I was 8 years old and I will be 45 in about 3 weeks. I have recorded over a dozen studio album and written songs and recorded with everyone from Miley Cyrus to Weezer & Joan Jett amongst many others. I started my band Against Me! When I was 17 years old and have played shows all over the world. On top of all this I am also a parent to an amazing 16 year old. I currently have the next year off of the road and am looking for flexible work to help fund getting my recording studio open publicly. I am currently working out of a studio space at Treehouse Records in Portage Park. I have a large collection of vintage guitars, amplifiers and other instruments as well as a full studio recording set up. While I have never professionally taught guitar I have over 35 years experience and would love to share what I know.
