Hi, my name is Alex and I am a musician from Cleveland. I have been a drummer for over 15 years and have played piano for about 10. My favorite genres are Funk, House, Punk, and my favorite band is King Gizzard! In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to become the drummer you hear in your favorite music. I take a backwards approach, asking first where you're trying to go, then make a plan on how to get there. I like to tell my students that there's no "just being bad at" anything. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the process in motion. My students love that I am so patient and figure out a way to meet them eye to eye.
