About Me

Hi, my name is Carey and I am a keyboard/ guitarist from Chesnee, SC. I have been a student of music for over 40 years. My musical influences include Christian Contemporary and Classic Rock. My teaching style can best be described as the number system. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I love to teach the ability to play what you're heart desires. In my lessons, you can expect to learn songs that you can play quickly. I like to tell my students that you don't have to get frustrated trying to learn your instrument, we can make it fun! My favorite thing about teaching is the number system. My students love that I make it simple. I primarily teach guitar, but I can also teach keyboard. Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Classically Trained at 6 year of age. Learned to read sheet music bass and treble clef, but also learned to play by ear.

Performing Experience:

Play in live bands and in church for over 40 years.

Experience Teaching:

Taught online lessons for the last 2 years and have taught in church for over 15 years.
