I have recently graduated with my MA in Music Performance and previously obtained my Level 5 and 6 diploma in Music Management & Sound and my BA in Popular Music with specialties in Songwriting, Beginners Music Theory, Vocal lessons, and Guitar. As a songwriter, I have recorded and released 4 albums, having co-written on more than 20 releases for other artists, both commercially and for TV/advertisements. I have garnered over 7 years of experience tutoring students from the ages of 6-60, covering various lessons on music theory and music management to practical music lessons including band work, songwriting, and studio techniques. My approach to lessons are aimed to facilitate student led learning. Each lesson is aimed towards encouraging engagement to an individual students abilities and to also motivate a student to set their own goals. Whether it be learning to read sheet music for a country song, writing a punk song on electric guitar or anything in between, each lesson will be tailored to the aspirations and goals of the individual student to promote active and enthusiastic learning!
