I have 28 years of experience as a classroom vocal general music teacher. Additionally, I have worked as a piano teacher for another company, intermittently for 15 years, as well as procuring my own private students. I last taught self-procured students June 2024.

Formal Education:
Degrees that I hold are A. A. in Music 1975, B. S. with a concentration in Music Education 1981. I also achieved a teaching certificate at Morgan State University in 1987. In 2003, I earned a certificate in Kodaly Music Education at Loyola University via the American Kodaly Institute. Because of my professional development of taking various courses beyond my B.S. degree (music, reading, and general best practices pedagogy for any subject) I was recognized, teaching certificate wise and salary wise as having a Masters Equivalency.
Performing Experience:
I am a vocalist, as well, a soprano. Through the years, I have been a member of community choirs and choruses: collegiate and gospel. I have been a member of my church choir. Secondly, I also have assisted the minister of music in playing the worship music for our church.
