Hi, I'm Dom, and I have been playing the guitar for over 7 years. I performed in multiple local bands in Cincinnati doing gigs for 3 years and have some experience with studio projects. My lessons are centered around developing technique and teaching applied music theory focused to each student's personal musical goals. I believe in fostering a student's musical independence by not just teaching what to practice, but how to approach practice. Formal Education:
My formal education wasn't in music, I actually studied Chemistry and Philosophy in college, but I had some great musical mentors along the way who were classically trained and helped me in my musical journey immensely. This means I understand and relate well to the experience of a self-taught musician and know from firsthand experience what skills often go overlooked or underdeveloped.
Performing Experience:
I have 3 years of experience gigging bars, clubs, festivals, and theaters in Cincinnati and have just started performing in the Youngstown area.
