Kelby began playing guitar at the age of 14. Over the years, he developed his skills further by studying music/guitar theory. He gained performance experience in the Colorado Springs area by playing at such venues as the Greenhorn Valley and with acts such as Pure Sorrow, and his various solo projects. Though Kelby can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are; Rock, Country, and Blues. which had great influence on his style of playing. Kelby loves music, because it is his absolute passion, and loves teaching music to share that same passion with others.
