Hello New students! My name is Kalleigha and I am a recent graduate from Rollins college in winter park Florida. Since I was very young I've always had a passion for music and have wanted to share that with others. I am currently based in Texas and am excited to get to know any and all new students!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
What students should expect out of my lessons is a fun, enriching, and technical driven experience. From my former lessons as a college student and overall experience at Rollins college. I've learned that an atmosphere that promotes growth and understanding is what all ages responds to. I will as your instructor, meet you where you are as a student. I will give the best vocal exercises that will aid you in producing the sound you desire. lastly, this lesson is for your own personal growth as a singer, so don't be afraid to ask questions and push yourself to do your best always!

while I was at Rollins college my voice teacher was Lauren Langa. under her I studied classical and jazz music
Performing Experience:
I've sung at many churches both for work and student lead projects. From my time at Rollins college I performed in multiple choirs. These choirs consisted of different musical styles jazz, gospel, classical, etc.. I also performed with the society of Bach festival choir for events such as the lord of the rings at the Dr Philips center in Orlando and the silent movie Joan of arc as the live orchestra and choir. During covid we performed our Christmas program for the public in downtown Orlando. I also participated in my first opera Cendrillon which was the French adaption to the Disney princess story Cinderella.
Experience Teaching:
When I was in high school I took a teacher academy class at our local tech center. This is where I first learned about teaching. However, while I was at college, I experienced my first time teaching voice. I took vocal pedagogy, and the second half of that class was to teach an instrumentalist how to sing. we had to create our own lesson plans before each lesson which is something I was privy to since I had prior experience. As well as set up viable times to meet, and if a lesson was missed we'd reschedule.
