My name is Natalie and I have been a musician for 13 years now. My primary instrument is saxophone however I play a A lot more than just saxophone! I am super passionate about music whether it’s concert band, Orchestra, marching band, or even solo or small ensemble performances. I have played with and under many great composers, conductors, and professors in Virginia and Florida, and am classically trained in many different instruments. My teaching style, however, focuses on fun, cultivating a love for music, and teaching the students versatility with their music so that they can do any ensemble or performance they desire to.

Formal Education:
I studied as a Music Education major at university of Central Florida in the saxophone studio. While I am no longer a music student, I still participate in ensembles and perform at any opportunity possible!
Private Education:
I worked and studied under Bonnie Slater, and David Pope (James Madison University) for 5 years. I have also participated in and given several masterclasses from the elementary all the way to college level.
Performing Experience:
I have been performing as a soloist, as well as in concert band for 13 years. I have performed in state honors ensembles, both jazz and concert, at state conventions as a small ensemble, and many times in the public at fairs or other events. I have also been performing in the marching arts for 8 years on Saxophone, Bass Drum, and Cymbals, as well as conducting and leading Marching ensembles in performance.
Experience Teaching:
I have been teaching music for 5 years now. I started giving lessons to my peers in high school, then became an assistant teacher to Bonnie Slater. I taught private lessons to students of all ages, and many instruments.
