Hi, I’m Declan! I’ve been playing guitar for over eight years, and it’s been a huge part of my life ever since I first picked it up. I’m passionate about helping others discover the same joy and creativity that the instrument has given me. My lessons will be structured but always move at your pace. We’ll focus on your goals, whether that's learning improvisation and theory or just playing your favorite songs. I’ve taught friends and family for years, and now I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with new players who want to grow their skills and confidence on the guitar. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, I’ll help you build solid technique, musical understanding, and most importantly having fun with every note.

I have experience performing in a variety of musical settings. I spent two years in my high school choir and theatre band, a year and a half as the guitarist for a metal band, and have performed with several local and cover bands as part of the Boulder music scene.
Experience Teaching:
Co-ran my high school guitar club, leading sessions on technique, rhythm, and performance. I've taught many of my friends and peers, helping them learn songs, improve timing, and build confidence.
