Juan L.

I hold both a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and a Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from the National University of Colombia, where I built a strong foundation in performance, pedagogy, and music history. My training also included organ and early music studies, which enriched my understanding of historical performance practice. For over fifteen years, I have served as a piano professor at the Conservatorio del Tolima, where I teach applied piano, music history, and chamber music. I have also taken on leadership roles as Artistic Director of the International Piano Festival and the Blanca Uribe International Piano Competition, coordinating academic and artistic projects that promote international collaboration and cultural exchange. Beyond formal education, I have continued to grow through international masterclasses, research, and performances across Europe and the United States, experiences that deeply shape my artistic and pedagogical vision.
