I have been playing guitar since I was 14 years old. I also consider myself a Bassist, but I am very musically-inclined towards Guitar, Drums and other instruments. I also play the Ukulele, Piano, Mandolin, and I sing. I studied music in college where I had formal training in theory, hands on Bass lessons, Piano, Rock Ensembles, Choir, and other applied music classes. My music influences are 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews, tons of classic rock bands, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Elton John and Zac Brown Band to name a few. Reggae, Funk, Country, Blues, alternative rock, and acoustic are my main musical loves and focuses. I have lots of knowledge about theory and musical genres from my schooling and years of experience. My instruction would include helping my students become more knowledgeable about their instruments and music because I subscribe to the notion that the more knowledge you have, the better player you will become. I will also teach technique, basic fingering, rhythm, chords, chord structure, and techniques on how to remember and memorize all these tools.
