Hello Everyone! I have been singing and playing instruments since early childhood and have also been trained in theater and more than 15 years of dance teaching in all of the above along the way. And now, I'm looking forward to working with YOU to expand your own love of music through singing! Though I'm new to the world of private lessons, I am not new to teaching people of all ages about singing. As I pursued my degree in vocal performance, I did an internship teaching music to elementary and middle school aged students. I have also worked as a choir director for an adult choir and have less formally taught and worked with many different generations and skill levels of people. I'm passionate about creating an encouraging and fun environment where you can feel safe to really learn and grow. From pop or musical theater, to classical and everything in between-no matter your genre or starting level of experience, my goal is to help you get to where you want to go. Whether you're looking for a fun hobby or to train more seriously, let's work together and make it happen!

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect a lesson catered to their own personal level of experience. Across the board, during the lesson you can expect vocal warm-ups, exercises to strengthen current vocal range and expand it if desired, drills for practicing breath control, and to sing songs chosen by me that are relevant to goals (as well as songs chosen by the student as applicable). There will be skills learned that can, and should, be practiced in between class times in order to maximize our time together. The level of 'homework' will be reliant on the specific level of training you are hoping to receive.
