Hasim S.

Hasim is a trombonist from Decatur, GA who mow resides in McDonough. He began playing trombone at the age of 10. He continued to play throughout middle and high school, performing at venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York and Hodgson Hall at the University of GA. He's also been selected to several ensembles such as the Metro Atlanta Youth Wind Ensemble and the GA All-State Band. He attended Hampton University where he served as the Trombone Section Leader and was selected to participate in the Intercollegiate Music Association Conference. He also attended Florida A&M University where he served as Assistant Head Drum Major and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry. While there, he had several notable performances such as the Louis Vuitton Men's Fashion Show in Paris, France, and opening up for the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra featuring Wynton Marsalis. Hasim is extremely passionate about music, as he believes it is universal form of communication. He is a more than capable teacher with years of experience, and he knows the importance of music as both an enhancer of the mind and a means to matriculate through higher education. He enjoys working with the youth, and his services include trombone lessons, as well as production, recording, and songwriting. Whether beginner or experienced, he is ready to enhance your skills and help you reach your musical goals!
