About Me

Steven began playing Trombone at the age of 8. Over the years, he developed his skills further by taking part in wind ensemble through school, performing in local open mics and with small name bands, and generally enjoying the art of playing in his free time. He gained performance experience in Colorado by playing at such venues as Oskar Blues and Cruisers Bar in Grand Junction, as well as smaller venues in Glenwood Springs and Snowmass Village. Though Steven can teach many genres of music, his musical personal favorites are Jazz and Classical, which had great influence on his style of playing. Steven loves music because of the connection and community it brings and loves teaching music because he loves to spread that joy and community with others.
