Hi my name is Ryan and I am a Baritenor from Pembroke, NC. I have been singing in school choral programs since middle school all the way to college which totals 15 years. I trained at UNCP’s Music program in musical theatre with a minor in commercial music. I love Jazz and Musical Theatre music but I have a deep love of all types of rock through its stages. My way of teaching is to get the student singing and testing out what their range is at first to establish a foundation. I believe with work and diligent focus anyone from a beginner to adept. In my lessons I will help with intonation and musical literacy. I tell The people I teach I always want someone to feel the music in their voice and body first and let that show where you can improve. My favorite thing about performing singing is the feeling of release from successful singing. My favorite performance would be the roles in musical theatre shows in college because of the mixture of storytelling elements in the singing and music and lyrics. I primarily teach commercial music and musical theatre but I can also teach jazz. My approach as a teacher is to let the student say what they want to sing first and then help them through to a place of competency. Thanks for looking at my profile, Hope to hear from you soon!
