About Me

Hello! My name's Forrest and Im from North Carolina. I moved to Cleveland for a music therapy internship about a year and a half ago. I graduated from Appalachian state university with a bachelors in music. I have experience performing and teaching with the violin guitar mandolin banjo and drum set and steel pan. Ive played actively in touring bands and been apart of many jam sessions and leadership positions. I played in string and percussion ensembles in college. I taught violin through a studio working with groups of kids and individuals. I also have lots of experience working with children with autism and disabilities teaching music or Musical experession. I currently teach mandolin privately. I taught drum set lessons in college. I feel passionate about helping others and music. I love seeing what motivates those and using that to increase their skills. I believe that preferences will build trust support and success during the process of learning music no matter the level.
