Vincent B.

Hello! My name is Vincent. I am a musician from Kingsland, Georgia. I’ve been a student of music for 5 years. I started playing the French horn in middle school, and fell in love with music. Since then, I’ve learned numerous other instruments such as guitar, bass, and trumpet. Throughout the years, I’ve spent time teaching my peers and others how to play and improve their skills as musicians. I’ve taught middle schoolers who’ve never even held an instrument before basics, and even taught them how to play the instrument in a days worth of time. I’ve helped others with improving ranges, tones, and ability to read music. I’ve spent time in many different bands and experiences such as district honor band for three years, district jazz band, pit band in high school and community pit band, many jazz ensembles, and marching band for four years where I spent time with a leadership role improving and teaching new students on how to play and march at the same time. My approach as a teacher is for my students to learn the basics on their instrument, reading sheet music and/or tablature, improve their techniques and tone qualities, music theory, help my students achieve their goals in music, and most importantly finding confidence in your playing skills.
