I’ve been playing guitar since I was 11, and nearly three decades later, it’s still one of my greatest passions. At 39, I love sharing what I’ve learned and helping students experience the joy and confidence that come from making music. What to Expect From Lessons: My lessons are relaxed, patient, and personalized to each student’s goals. I focus on solid fundamentals—rhythm, chord vocabulary, technique, and ear training—always taught through real songs you want to play. We’ll break things down in a way that feels natural and encouraging, so you can grow without feeling overwhelmed. For students who want to go deeper, I also cover advanced concepts like the circle of fifths, key changes, scales, modes, fingerpicking, and flatpicking. I love helping players understand not just how to play, but why the music works. I specialize in folk, rock, pop, roots, country, and indie guitar styles, and I enjoy guiding students toward the sounds that inspire them most.
