Will has always loved music from an early age. He began playing the trumpet at the age of 10 and continued his education by studying music business. His musical influences include The Beatles and Dizzy Gillespie.Will's favorite thing about music is how it connects so many people together and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing how students succeed. One of his favorite teaching experiences was working at my high school as a marching band tech. When taking lessons with Will you can expect that it is okay to make mistakes, and that not everything will be fixed within one lesson. Formal Education:

I got my diploma from South Elgin High School in May of 2023. I am currently in my third year of Music Business at Illinois State University.

Performing Experience:

I have performed with multiple groups over the years, in high school, I was in the South Elgin Symphonic Band and the South Elgin Jazz Ensemble. At college, I have been in the Illinois State Horn Studio, the University Band, and then the Symphonic Band. I have also done a community band over the summer in my hometown of Bartlett, Illinois. I have also marched trumpet, along with mellophone in my high school marching band and college marching band, the Big Red Marching Machine.

Experience Teaching:

I have been a brass instructor within my high school's marching band, and I have also helped out the French Horn players at my high school within their top ensemble.
