I began playing drum set at around 8 years old and later picked up all different aspects of percussion through being active in my middle and high school band. Throughout those years, I played in concert and symphonic bands, percussion ensemble, and marching band, also taking on different leadership roles within those ensembles, as well as serving as a percussion instructor for the middle school during my last year at my high school. I went on to study music with a concentration in music industry at the Georgia Southern Gretsch School of Music in Savannah, becoming the primary drum set player for most of the ensembles including the percussion ensemble, contemporary vocal ensemble, and the regular and advanced commercial music ensembles. Outside of college I’ve played in multiple local bands such as Just Rats, Charlie’s Poolhouse, Birdleaf, and others that I have filled in for on different occasions. On top of playing for these bands, I’ve been a producer and mixing and mastering engineer, having recorded multiple albums and singles for various musicians and projects around Savannah. Since graduating and earning my degree in Spring of 2025, I have continued to preform and produce, as well as teaching lessons at Guitar Center and serving as the percussion tech for the Savannah Philharmonic.
