About Me

I began vocal lessons and performing at the age of 7. When I was 10 years old I was showcased at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas along with other singers from around the US. I continued performing at local events, talent shows and at my school. At 16 I moved to Texas, and continued taking vocal lessons with Theresa Yow-Black, a highly respected vocal instructor who worked along side and trained under Tom Mckinney, a vocal instructor to many renowned and successful artists. From there I started my own band, "Lyssa Warren." I performed throughout South East Texas at many events and venues such as The Big Barn Dosey Doe. The Fire House Saloon and The Houston Rodeo. I was fortunate enough to write and record songs with Shane Stevens who is known for his song American Honey by Lady A and Fancy Like by Walker Hayes. During that time I was asked by Theresa Black and Tom Mckinney to train and become part of their team. I trained directly under Theresa for 6 months learning SLS techniques and shortly after that started picking up my own students. I also worked directly at Real Life Real Music as their only vocal instructor. I released my first single in 2015 titled Reloaded. I also have songs on under Lyssa Warren that I co-wrote with Shane Stevens and other local artists. I am now a mother to a 9 year old boy and I want to continue my journey and love of music with the world.
