About Me
Ryanis a local San Diego County professional violinist and has over 25 years experience playing the violin and over 5 years teaching experience. Ryan has performed with numerous symphony orchestras such as Mira Costa Symphony Orchestra as Associate Concertmaster and Concertmaster, La Jolla Symphony, San Diego City Ballet. Ryan currently teaches privately and performs gigs in San Diego, North County, and Orange County Areas.

Formal Education:
Ryan is classically trained at a young age having studied the violin at age 7 with Nancy Collins for 11 years, and then with Branden Muresan for 3 years. Ryan is continuing to pursue his goals currently studying with Hernan Constantino.
Performing Experience:
Ryan performed with various Symphony Orchestras in San Diego, North County, and Orange County such as Mira Costa Symphony Orchestra, La Jolla Symphony, San Diego City Ballet, Tustin Ballet, and Moonlight Amphitheater as well as numerous gigs and performances ranging from musicals to ballets and major classical symphonic works.
Experience Teaching:
Ryan has over 5 years experience teaching the violin having taught people of various ages, backgrounds, and teaches from 7 years old and up. Ryan has taught one on one lessons privately and in studio setting in music stores and organizations and in group settings teaching up to 25 people at a time. Ryan teaches old school Russian technique, using Suzuki and Mark O Connor methods and various other methods and books for basic technique and foundation. Ryan is skillful at adapting to different learning styles and caters to each individuals’ needs on the violin using various approaches and strategies to help students learn and grow on the violin.
