Hi! My name is Jenna and I am a musician from Muhlenberg County. I took violin lessons as an elementary schooler, but I didn't really connect to an instrument until I took a beginner guitar and piano class in high school. I had a teacher who really encouraged me to pick songs I was interested in, and I think that made all the difference for me. I studied music at Transylvania University for 4 years, where I remained a member of the guitar ensemble. I composed my own EP there, and fell in love with writing songs and exploring sounds. I've been teaching guitar lessons for the last 2 years! My other hobbies include backpacking, cooking, crocheting, painting, and playing pickup basketball any opportunity I get. I think one of the best things you can be in life is a beginner, and I try to do something that makes me feel like one as much as possible. It's a beautiful thing to know you have more to learn! I'd love to be your teacher, and to help you begin your own journey exploring sound and song!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
My long term goal with all of my students is to help them build autonomy with their instrument! Want to explore your own inner world and inner whims when it comes to song and sound? I'm your teacher! Once we get the basic fundamentals under our belt, I like for my students to tell me what songs they want to learn, and our lessons will be structured around the skills needed to play that material! I think most people learn best when they are invested in what they're doing, and learning songs on the guitar is no exception.

I wrote and composed my own recital as part of my formal education. You may find me playing an open mic nights or an art markets. I have 2 EPs that I produced and fully instrumented myself on streaming services.
