Erik has loved music since he was born. Growing up he dabbled in piano, guitar, and even drums, but most importantly he has always loved creating music vocally and with writing. Erik grew up being apart of the Keystone State Boychoir until he graduated high school, while simultaneously created and released music as an artist, both starting around 10 years old. He then went on to attend the University of the Arts to continue growing his musical craft, while also trying to push his musical career. He even ended up having 2 original songs, be featured in 2 separate television series in 2! Erik’s favorite thing about music is the expression it allows you give yourself and others, as well as singing and writing music. Erik’s favorite thing about teaching music is helping someone understand that they can always learn more about your gifts! One of his favorite experiences teaching music was with a 15 year old student. He didn’t believe he could bend and twist his voice in a comfortable enough way to allow it to actually feel natural, while doing a song that wasn’t in his normal batch of songs, stylistically.
