Beginner -
I teach beginner piano, focusing on entry-level sight reading and foundational performance skills. I take a thoughtful, supportive approach to help students feel comfortable and confident at the piano while building strong technical habits. My goal is to guide beginners in developing their skills steadily and meaningfully over time, creating a solid foundation for continued growth. (Also good for those who want to learn how to play basic piano to back themselves up while singing.)
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
- Intermediate
I teach sight singing, music theory, aural skills, stage presence, and songwriting. Students can expect to analyze and break down pieces of music to strengthen their understanding and technique. Lessons also provide the opportunity to work on songs of their choice, helping them build confidence and refine their performance skills.
What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons
- Intermediate
Students should expect to spend lessons exploring songwriting concepts such as building meaningful lyrics, shaping melodies, crafting strong hooks, and bringing their ideas to life.
Formal Education:
My initial musical training comes from my years of training at Oakland school for the arts 6th-12th grade. I have now graduated with a B.A in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from The University Of San Fransisco (2025).
Experience Teaching:
I specialize in vocal instruction and have experience teaching pre-teens, along with younger children and adults. I also teach intermediate piano and offer training in sight singing, music theory, aural skills, stage presence, and songwriting.
