Hi, my name is Kalyn and I am a dedicated musician from Southern Indiana. I have been a student of music for almost 9 years. My musical influences include my high school band director and I also enjoy traveling. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed, but disciplined. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I strive for my student’s succeed. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to play the instrument, basic fingerings/techniques, and major scales. I like to tell my students that as long as they try, that is all I can ask for. My favorite thing about teaching is watching student’s grow and fall in love with music. My favorite performance? I do not have one. My students love that I am patient and encouraging.
