Rachel began playing guitar at the age of eight. Over the years, she developed her skills further by playing in bands and for solo gigs in her hometown. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal music but has always enjoyed playing guitar to accompany her voice. She has taught Elementary Music in Public Ed. and Charter Schools for 15 years. Although Rachel can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are Sheryl Crow and John Mayer which had great influence on her style of playing. Rachel loves music because it’s always given her joy and loves teaching music because she has dedicated her career to this mission.
