Hi, my name is Jack. I've been drumming for about 25 years and playing lead guitar for about 20. During that time I've gigged (mostly on drums) a wide variety of genres, all of which i enjoy and have been fortunate enough to gig in various locations across the US and occassionally in South America and Europe. I welcome students of all ability levels and ages as we all have something to learn from each other! When left to my own discretion, the music I enjoy playing to most is funk, gospel, RnB, latin, reggae, swing and really anything with alot of feeling, texture and color. I'm available for in person and online lessons so can accomodate whatever format you prefer!

Formal Education:
It would be an exaggeration to say I have a proper musical education background but i did play in high school Jazz Band in 9th and 10th grade so am familiar with the organization and preparation that goes into it.
Private Education:
My musical education came mostly from my own initiative however I've been lucky enough to learn to be exposed to in person lessons with drummers such as Lil John Roberts, Rashid Williams, George "Spanky" McCurdy and countless other "lower profile" drummers who can all play on a similar level given the opportunity.
Performing Experience:
At this point in time I can only estimate the amount of performences Ive had, it is somewhere around 700-800 with small tours of the east coast, mid-west, southwest and and mountain west regions and Alaska. I've also played shows in Brazil and done mini-tours throughout Poland and Germany performing genres ranging from Samba to American Blues. If it sounds good, I'll play it!
Experience Teaching:
My experience is predominately with 1 on 1 private lessons but am open to groups as well.
