I've been playing piano since I began learning at the age of 6. I was taught in the classical way by learning classical music mixed with contemporary. My teaching style can best be described as adaptive. I like to connect with my students in various different ways, whether that be connecting through interests or music tastes or anything else! I have only had experience teaching elementary school children, but I can also teach any other ages. My approach as a teacher is to let the student try to figure out their mistakes or hiccups first. If they're having trouble, I can lend a hand. It's not necessarily hands off. My philosophy is that if you cannot at least identify where things went wrong granted you have your fundamentals in place, then you need to keep reviewing until you get things right.
