Chelsea began singing at the age of five, accompanied by her mom and dad on the guitar. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking voice at her local music school. She gained performance experience in the Nashville area by singing in bands and choirs. Chelsea began teaching music as a highschooler and began teaching private voice lessons at Lawrence University where she studied Vocal Performance and Psychology. Though Chelsea can teach many different genres of music, her personal favorites are classical and musical theatre genres. Chelsea loves performing because she believes in the power of music to communicate what words alone cannot and loves teaching music because everyone has something unique and exciting to express in their music!
