Joey Believes that when you play orwrite music, it should be fun. For 19 years I've been playing guitar, a little longer on Piano/Keyboard. Over those years he's discovered some tricks and learned many practical ways to help people get out of their head and learn to play. Joey believes that anyone can learn, no matter the age or experience level. He believes that even certain disabilities that people see as an end to their music dreams are actually just a small obstacle that require a work around that he and his students can figure out together. He has lived experience in this as he grew up with a form of Tourettes Syndrome that made it impossible to use a couple of his fingers for many years. It didn't stop him though. There is always a way to figure things that out. Joey doesn't believe that their is just one right way to do anything, but that there are many ways to accomplish the same goals. He also understands that not every player/student will have the same style and He encourages individuality and what makes any player unique/different to shine through and enhance their musical journey.
